1. More focus on mental health.
I started a bit of this towards the end of 2021 by going to therapy. I try and do a session 2-3 times a month and I find it to be beneficial because it allows me to release any negative feelings I have pent up. This doesn't have to be only therapy, it can be anything that brings you a bit of happiness; going for a walk, hiking, exploring new places etc.
2. Finish a book every 1-2 weeks.
I used to love reading when I was a little girl. I could actually finish a decent size book in a day if I did only that for the whole day. As responsibilities grew and I became busier books started losing their magic however I intend on
3. More movement.
My 'goal' is pilates 2-3 times a week and then going for walks the other days. Having a dog especially helps with this because you can have your little buddy alongside you while they get their exercise as well. Anyway the intention is some sort of movement every day this can even be a little bit of stretching.
4. Valuable skills.
I'm a big advocate of investing in yourself. I purchased a lifetime subscription to rosetta stone as my Christmas present to myself this year, and it makes me so happy because I've always loved languages. Currently, all 3 of the tattoos I have are of languages including Sanskrit and Tibetan. I'm currently at an intermediate level for both Hindi and Spanish and I'm working towards being fluent by the end of this year!
5. Less waste.
I have been more conscious of what I'm buying and consuming. Especially with clothes and beauty products. I usually don't like to own more than one type of beauty product at a time, even with fragrances I currently have 3 that I rotate through and that is more than enough for me. I have gotten into a capsule wardrobe mindset when purchasing clothing.
