My Summer 2021 Beauty Must Haves

Colorescience Face Shield SPF 50

Sunscreen is important all year round, so I'm not going to lecture you on that. However, when I become a bit more tanned in the warmer months I want to make sure my sunscreen not only doesn't leave a cast but also doesn't make me extra oily. This is by far my favorite facial sunscreen, and the ingredients list is a major win.

Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer

Another base favorite, out of all the tinted moisturizers I've tried this will always be my favorite. It has light-medium coverage but I actually don't mind my acne scarring showing through as it makes the face look more real. I go in after with the slightest amount of concealer under the eyes and blemishes and that's all I need base-wise for everyday wear. (This has now been reformulated as the one in the picture is no longer sold)

RMS Glow Quad

This small but mighty palette is absolutely stunning on the skin. The formula is creamy and there's no obvious glitter which is my favorite part. It just looks like your skin is naturally glowing which I prefer in a highlight. The bronze shade can be used as a bronzer or on the lids as an eyeshadow.

Chanel Les Beiges Bronzing Cream

The hype is real for this one (and a new deeper shade was just released!). I find cream/liquid cheek products look so much more natural, especially if you have textured skin like I do. The original shade is a barely-there bronze on my skin tone which is perfect because as I have quite a tan complexion, to begin with. However, if you are any deeper in skin tone than I am then I would go for the deeper shade.

Nuxe Shimmering Dry Oil

Another product I've loved and used for years. It has a beautiful soft vanilla scent, the glitter is not chunky, and the warm tint really brightens up my skin tone. It's a multi-use oil but I personally don't use it on my face as the scent/glitter would be a bit too much for my sensitive skin. A couple of drops on your shoulders and arms and the perfect little white dress is my summer go-to look.

MERIT Tinted Lip Oil*

A new discovery for me, this has easily become one of my new favorite lip oils. The formula is not extremely oily, it's lightweight and feels as though you have nothing on your lips. The shade 'au naturale' is a flattering coral shade on my skin tone.
