How I Feel Turning 26 & What I've Learned

Holding on. I don't believe in astrology but this Taurus trait happens to be very true in my case. I tend to hold on and keep relationships/friendships that are detrimental just because it's comfortable and I hate change. However I've learned to just keep it moving and life cannot be perfect, so whoever stays or goes is all a part of life.

Curbing expectations. I tend to have high expectations when it comes to people and events. I expect that people will show up, be kind, supportive, etc. I play out events in my head and then become disappointed when they don't happen a certain way. It's all human nature at the end of the day, but 

Pushing myself. I've intentionally started to make it a practice to not sit in bed for too long, get up, take a shower, put on some makeup and a nice outfit no matter how I'm feeling. I'm not going to say I do that all the time, I still have to have my movie nights in bed when I really need it. I've found that pushing myself no matter how I'm feeling that day always helps to get me going and I usually feel better by the end of the day.
